Speed it up!

I still drive with some fear, I'm still a rookie... :)

But...for those who need to know, the maximum speed on straight road is ~100kms/h.
In the highway, downhill, with no cars and with care, it goes fast as ~120kms/h.
On the same higway, uphill, goes as fast as 70kms/h :(

Never drove with a passenger... always me on Symone alone...

I don't need much speed on traffic jams, the speed I need is "not stopped, on the move" :)

  3. Hi NMC,

once again congrats on your blog, it's really good!

You said you can get to 120 km/h in Red Line, but what is the maximum speed you can get in the limit before red line? My Sym Gts 125 only goes to 110 km/h...

  6. Monday was a good day on the A5 (Cascais>Lisbon), thanks to the Pope :) there was no traffic...

When I said above "in the redline" I meant touching and passing just a little bit.
Never "glue" the pointer to the max thou...

  7. Just went hiking with the misses. Mine does 80 average and 100 max, it's brandnew so i'm not flirting with the red line yet though. But I guess I could go as fast as 110 with passenger on a straight road with not too much wind.

  8. yes.. the Pope !! no trafic and a nice ride !
and always on 110km/h =) with passenger

but Friday i get havy rain and a lot of fear also !!!

drivers don't respect bikes, and i don't know why..

just a note: my route is Nacional 10, A2, Pt 25 Abril, A5 until Tires... and on the other way.. so i get a lot of trafic and stup*** drivers...

  9. I do mostly the A5, and I get some of those stup*** car drivers...

It's official, on the middle of the redline, between the 9 and the 10 on the rotation meter, at 121kms... going a little down hill on the highway...

Better than that only on free drop from the sky :) or with some kind of tuning...
