Enough is enough! Safety first...

I was really tired and upset of this "sideview" mirrors. I couldn't see anything behind me for crying out loud...

You can say whatever you want but I think this solution works just perfectly :)

Total cost: 8€ (4€ each), they turn 360º, so you can adjust to better suit your needs...

Now I can see, now I have rearview mirrors... :)
Safety first!

  2. So far so good... still happy with the solution :)

The "motards" on my workplace joke me arround a little because they say that they don't need to see what's on their back...

    I don't care... I'm satisfied now! :)

  3. Hi! I,m from Ukraine and goin` to bye the same scoot. Those mirrors has to be adjustable. Are they rotate inside their shells?

  4. Hi there anonymous from Ukraine :)
Of course the SYM mirrors are adjustable inside the shells.
But there's no position where ou can have a good view of the rear. For that you need to move your arms and strech your head a little to the side...
What you can do is sit on a SYM GTS 125 Evo and adjust the mirrors anda try to see what's on your back...
I failed to do so without moving my body... That's why I bought those handy little round mirrors :)

I've already spoke about this is a previous post: http://symgts125evo.blogspot.com/2010/03/rear-view-mirror-angle-not-good.html

  7. I also have the same problem, but moving my arms solves it. Usually i'm not worried by what's behind me.

    Just hade my first ride.
Everyting is great, except the limited view on the mirrors.
Can you tell me where I can find these thingies online ? Do you have to glue them ?

  10. Thanks TH.
I've no idea where you can buy them online, sorry.
Mine came with a little sticker to attach to the glass mirror, but they're sliding down the mirror, must reinforce with some kind of stronger sticker.

  11. I beat your price. I only paid 2 euros :)
I only used one on the left mirror, as I don't see added value for putting one on the right mirror.
Heck that one is folded in most of the times, to pass the traffic james ;)

For everyone who is interested, I bought it at www.halfords.com

  12. nice :) good price indeed...
in Portugal car drivers tend to pass on the right, and since I do some roads with lot of entries and exits it's good to check my right...
    regards
