  1. Hi there,
Beeing the proud owner of a sym gts 125 evo myself I´m having a little problem. I cant fit an integral helmet under the seat. My current helmet is already chipped in its shell (thanks to the two screws that hold the drivers back rest). I´m on the market for a new helmet, and already tried AGV S4-SV, AGV K4, AGV K3. Now I´m gonna try a Caberg Konda, switching to the flip-ups, and I realised by your photos that you use one of these flip-up helmets, maybe an HJC IS-MAX. I've read your post and Amadeu's tip, but I wanna know if you've tried other helmets or if your is suffering some issues thanks to those screws. We can read on the internet that chips and dents can really diminish the security given by the helmet.

By the way, in other post you were complaining of simone's power, have you consider changing CVT or maybe just the roller weights? Take a look http://www.unionmaterial.com/rollerweight6.htm

Another thing, can you make a little review about your helmet?

  5. Olá NMC. Tenho uma GTS 125 desde há um ano e só tive um problema com ela que ainda não está solucionado. Um dos led´s do farolim frontal direito apaga alguns minutos depois de a pôr a trabalhar. Accionei a garantia e subsitui o farolim. Filipe - Almada.

  7. Hey. I've a SYM GTS 125. Period. No EVO here :) As I've been told it's just the same as the EVO, but with another look and worst quality lights. Like the looks of my version much more though! :)
I have it for one and 1/2 years.
It's my first byke and I'm just lovin' it! Yeah, like the burguers :)
More than 25000 kms I'm still very happy with it, though I'm defenetly going to take the licence to drive something "bigger", like a custom (Intruder is the target for now...).
I had some problems at the beggining though. The shocks (frontside) had to be replaced because of a factory error. And hte "piscas" (how is it called in english?! :) had some problems also due to bad electrics. Nevertheless, after that surpassed, it rolls great.
This was the second time I drove more than 600 kms to sunny Algarve for the Summer. A bit of a tough trip, but always very enjoyable.
About the gas, I use 95 (cheaper) and it works as well as the 98. It's spends around 3,3 lts/100kms. (about 3,8lts on the trip to Algarve).
I've the same problem with the helmet. I also have an AGV (modular). Doesn't worry me though. I take with me :)
great blog. vemo-nos por aí :) talvez fosse interessante ser em português (e assim chegasse mesmo a mais gente...)
